Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Legal Advisor to join our venture studio. The ideal candidate will provide legal support and advice on various matters, including contracts, intellectual property, compliance, and risk management. This role involves drafting and reviewing legal documents and ensuring legal soundness in all business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support and advice on contracts, intellectual property, compliance, and risk management.
- Review and create contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
- Negotiate in-house and external contracts to secure favorable terms for the company.
- Analyze corporate policies and practices to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
- Apply knowledge of employment laws to resolve conflicts and ensure compliance within the organization.
- Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
- Advise management on legal implications of business decisions and strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal considerations are integrated into business operations.
- Manage and mitigate legal risks by implementing effective risk management strategies.
- Provide guidance on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
- Prepare and deliver training sessions on legal topics to ensure compliance and awareness across the organization.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and uphold the highest ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Legal Advisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, intellectual property, compliance, and risk management.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to secure favorable terms in contracts.
- Thorough understanding of corporate policies and regulatory compliance.
- Expertise in employment law and conflict resolution.
